After a lot of thought and discussion, I have made the decision not to travel to Portugal with the England Ladies Team for this year’s championship. It has been a difficult decision, but, having been involved with the squad since the age of 16, I feel it’s time to concentrate on myself and my beautiful little family for a while.
I will be back, I promise to not be completely illusive, but haven’t quite decided when. I have still participated in all the fund raising events this year, as I wanted to ensure the team could go to Portugal and defend their title.
I just want to say a massive thank you to all who donated and were involved in the fund raisers. Without your help over the last years the squad would not have being able to travel to compete.
On a personal note, the squad travel out on Saturday to Portugal and I genuinely want to wish them the very best and will have everything crossed in hope they come back with Gold. Good Luck.
That must have been a very tough decision Emma... You must know the reasons why... but at the end of the day It's your choice... good luck in all you do in the future (they will bloody well miss ya out there for sure) X
